- Sir, could you tell us about the potential and strengths of Kim Dong district in attracting investment?
Kim Dong is a land of great potential for development. Located in the center of Hung Yen province, the gateway of Hung Yen city, on the left bank of the Red River, in the Northern Delta - the dynamic economic center of the country, this land has advantages in regional linkages between cities and districts inside and outside the province.
The district has a fairly synchronous transport infrastructure with over 654km of hardened roads, convenient for travel. The district has a road connecting 2 highways Hanoi - Hai Phong with the highway Cau Gie - Ninh Binh with a length of 6.5 km; 03 National Highway routes including National Highway 38, National Highway 39 and National Highway 38 with a total length of 14.7km.
Route DT.378 runs along the dyke and the waterway on the Red River is about 11km long, connecting with Hanoi and Hung Yen city. Especially coming here, a new national highway will run through, which will help Kim Dong connect with Thai Binh and Hai Duong provinces and ring roads 4 and 5 of Hanoi capital...
The local human resources are quite abundant and qualified. The whole district has 68,500 people of working age; the rate of trained workers accounted for 17.12%; workers aged 15-45 accounted for 43% of the total number of employees in the district.
Kim Dong is on the way of rapid socio-economic development. Production growth rate in 2021 will reach 10.32%; 100% of communes meet new rural standards; 01 town and 02 communes meet the criteria of grade V urban area; There are 02 Industrial Parks (IZs) and 08 industrial clusters (CCNs).
In which, Luong Bang CCN is 100% filled; Other CCNs are continuing to attract investment and will fill up in the near future. Services and trade thrive. There are over 270 enterprises and cooperatives operating in the area, including 08 enterprises with 100% foreign capital. Many big projects have come into operation.
- What is the current situation of industrial clusters in Kim Dong district, sir?
In Kim Dong district, there are currently planning to build 08 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​456.37 ha, located in the communes of Vu Xa, Hiep Cuong, Phu Thinh, Hung An, Pham Ngu Lao, Nghia Dan and Luong Bang Town. Urban industrial development planning of the district in 2 phases: In the period to 2020, there are 02 industrial clusters, namely Luong Bang - Hiep Cuong, Pham Ngu Lao - Nghia Dan; In the period of 2021 - 2030, there are 06 CCNs and currently it is proposed to supplement the planning of some other industrial clusters.

Up to now, Luong Bang - Hiep Cuong Industrial Park has built basic technical infrastructure including internal roads, water supply and drainage; Pham Ngu Lao - Nghia Dan Industrial Park has been approved by Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee to establish the cluster and approved the 1/500 detailed planning, currently taking steps to invest and implement compensation and site clearance.
